Roll Forming for Minimal Part Handling at Higher Volumes

Roll forming allows manufacturers to produce parts at higher volumes with better quality and durability. We’ve engineered our pneumatic press technology to help rollformers combine operations before and after rollforming operations and minimize part handling.  In today’s economy this translates to higher speeds and reduced costs.  With our press designs, roll formers can create multiple press production systems to produce both standard and custom-engineered shapes from pre-painted, galvanized, hot rolled, cold rolled and carbon steels as well as aluminum, other metals, plastics and paper products.

The precision and rigid construction of AIRAM presses also allows rollformers to achieve the accuracy required during pre-punch, post punch, cut-to-length and flying cut-off operations while effectively generating the forces needed to match production rates. And because these machines don’t have brakes or clutches, AIRAM presses always stop on top without the possibility of coasting. The capability to dwell on the top or bottom of the stroke ensures that the speed of the press will always match line production requirements.
