Our flying cut-off application was developed for fabricators that need a cost-effective solution for cutting extruded profiles in industries ranging from automotive to home improvement products. The acceleration of our air press delivers a clean cut and profile for both simple and complex extruded parts.

Fast cutting action coupled with a flying die can produce higher quality parts. Our engineering team can tailor a press to match the dimensions of a customer’s part along with the desired line speeds. Our press can be used to anchor an extrusion line punching or cut-to-length operations. Airam can also offer a servo driven flying cutoff which for higher line speeds without sacrificing accuracy.

Especially suited for cutting lightweight material with little to no column strength, the Airam press offers a production uptime of 98 percent. Easy-to-install, the air press is a cost-effective, low maintenance option. Short feed lengths are easily accommodated on the AIRAM press because of its ability to run rapid single strokes.
